Hibben Center Archiving Crew
The Archiving Crew (volunteers from the Friends of Tijeras Pueblo and others) have worked very hard to catalog and organize artifacts from Linda Cordell's 1979 Pottery Mound field school. The collection has been re-bagged, re-boxed, labeled, written up, computerized and shelved. Now that the collections from Tijeras Pueblo and the 1979 Pottery Mound field school have been completed, the Archiving Crew continues to work through the materials excavated by Dr. Frank Hibben. We think the project is near completion--or even done this fall of 2010. We will have to check to find out what the next big project will be.
